How to Care for Elaine Chong Designs Jewelry

Solid gold jewelry is meant to last a lifetime. Solid Gold jewelry can be worn daily and kept forever, however with enamel our accents, please consider the following jewelry care guidelines.

Please do not use ultrasonic cleaners on our pieces - this can damage enamel work and gemstones.

AVOID: Please avoid household cleaners, harsh chemicals, and perfume or lotions as these can tarnish your pieces. If you are purchasing an item with a stone or enamel work, please wear it with extra care

REMOVE JEWELRY: when washing hands, before swimming, and before physical activities.

CLEANING: To keep your jewelry bright and shiny, polish with a soft, lint-free cloth like cotton or microfibre. Be gentle, jewellery containing gemstones and enamel are more fragile, so please take extra care when cleaning. 

STORAGE: Safely store your jewelry in a cool dry place like our jewelry pouches or jewelry boxes. We recommend storing each item separately to avoid scratching and/or tangling. 

DAMAGE POLICY: We do not repair jewelry and if a setting is damaged, causing a stone to fall out, we cannot replace this. Settings can be damaged by; any applied pressure, hitting a hard surface inadvertently or catching and snagging on clothing.
